Newbie questions

Hi,

I've been running Linux for many years, and just bought a PowerBook 
yesterday, so forgive my newbieness.

Two big questions:

I have two of most of my accounts (MSN, AIM, YIM, etc) however, I can't 
seem to log into both of them at once (e.g., I can't have two active 
YIM accounts or two active AIM accounts). Am I being stupid? or is this 
a limitation.

Second question, and this may be more of an OS/X question than a Fire 
question, but how the heck do I get the message windows to open in the 
same place? or close to the same place?
