Re: Speech in Fire in Tiger

I have two computers running Tiger, and both have no problems  
whatsoever playing speech.  I actually rely on speech to tell me when  
certain people log in while I am in a full screen game where  
notification windows will not be displayed (like World of Warcraft).

Does speech work when you try it in the Speech preference pane within  
System Preferences?  Also, are you using any hacks such as APE or its  
modules?
