I can sign in fine, but when someone tried to add me to their buddy 
list, after I clicked Ok, Fire went into a loop adding and removing 
them from my buddy list. I quit and restarted Fire and now it shows 
them in my buddy list, but claims they're offline, even though they 
aren't.

Also, how do I get Fire to log me in automatically when I start Fire? 
It does for my Yahoo! account, but doesn't for Google Talk. I'm sure 
there's some easy setting somewhere I'm just missing.
