The recently announced 1.0 alpha does not connect either (I reported it to fire-dev). Connectivity has always worked fine (www, mail, cvs, ssh, transmit, poisoned, etc.), and from this very Ethernet connection I connected to MSN and Yahoo! with Kopote in my previous laptop under Debian. As I said, MSN and Yahoo! clients for Mac OS X work fine as well. In spite of that, could something be misconfigured?
