Minimum Window Size - Another Plea

Fire rocks, but the fact that I can't get the window size down seriously hinders my use by sucking up screen real estate. I only need a chat window with 4 lines or so of text, and I find it quite frustrating that I can't size down that small. And others have complained of the same inadequacy. I have changed saved window size values in Fire.plist. I have edited the Min w/h fields in ChatWindow.nib and ChatWindowMetal.nib (130 w and 5 h respectively). I even dug through the code. All to no avail. I am completely perplexed. Why is there a restriction on minimum window size in the first place, and *where* does that restriction come in to play? With Fire 1.0 nearing completion, I am making a plea that this be addressed.
