Fire After Panther Upgrade

Hi All, I just got my new PowerBook with Panther. I copied Fire over from my old box, including its prefs an files in ~/Library/Application Support. It appears to work well, everything starts up and all my settings are there, but it refuses to connect to any IM services. I click the green button in the Edit Accounts screen for each service, but nothing happens. Anyone seen this before or have an idea what might be missing?
