Are you using Oscar or TOC? Does switching to the other make any 
difference?

Based on the comments, I'm not sure these are the same problem. Emi's 
problem sounds like Fire can't keep the connection up, vs. Mark's 
problem of unintentionally blocking buddies in the buddy list.

There were some issues in the earlier release related to our new 
multiple buddy lists support, which I believe are addressed in 0.99.2. 
I did not see either of the problems mentioned here, though.
