One use of a "copy record" command would be to be able to copy a buddy 
from, say, 1 messenger account to another.

As a specific example, you have one account for work, and one for 
home.  Some fo your friends work in the same field you do, so you want to 
copy some of your buddies form the home account tot he work account.
