Fire fails to connect consistently on startup

This is a crappy bug report, but here goes: Running Fire 1.0, and things pretty much work. However, ICQ and MSN both fail to automatically connect on startup about 25% of the time. Manually connecting them after this failure is not a problem. Tried to pull a sample, but it makes Activity Monitor quit and/or the terminal freeze up if I do it while Fire's loading.
