Hi.

I actually joined the list because of this window size issue. I
tried changing the NIB minimum window size (to a height of 5),
but restarting Fire didn't have any effect. I even
changed the Frame height of a few select windows in Fire.plist.
No go.

I then spent several hours in the source, ChatWindow.m in particular,
forcing the change programatically via a call like...

  [window setMinSize:NSMakeSize(5,5)]

Well that didn't work either, but my Objective C and
Cocoa experience extends about 3 pixels beyond the devtools tutorial.

Maybe there's a trick? I'd love to know because I too am searching
for a way to regain some real estate, and desperately want a 5 line
chat window!!
