Here is my sorry tale of woe, if it provides enlightenment to someone and 
saves them from hassles then i go to my fate a happy man :-)

Anyway my ISP is Zen internet , one of the very few in the UK that offer a 
fixed IP address and short term contracts. Their service has been second to 
none for the 2 years i have used them ... until now.

About the start of march i finally lost my temper with Windows and decided 
to switch to Linux for an easier life ( i know i know it took me long 
enought). Anyway to download a few free distributions to play with i came 
across the bittorrent P2P system. Having played wiith Napster and Kazza 
before becoming bored with them i decided to have a look around to see what 
was available for download. After grabbing a few music tracks i came across 
Video :-) TV shows to be exact , talk about hog heaven ;-).Anyway my better 
half enquired why i was spending so much time online all of a sudden and i 
foolishly demonstrated what i was upto. Great says she , get me a film ... 
Get Hitch , the new Will Smith film. After a bit of searching and a few 
false starts i got an AVI screener of Hitch downloaded. This would be around 
the 24 march.  This then appeared in my email box. The names and IP addresss 
have been changed to protect the innocent :-D . The intresting thing is the 
data that BayTSP attached to the original complaint, it shows they scanned 
me from inside Bittorrent , basically they are logging up anyone who uploads 
unreleased / new release movies. And as the bittorrent systems requires you 
to upload while downloading everyone is pretty shafted.

I wouldn't have minded but to be busted for a chick flick.... a Will Smith 
chick flick even .... Oh the shame :-(
