Multiple disconnected darknets (only for christians, only for cp, ...) fail to anonymize the connected users. If you join the darknet for pet surgery, it is clear what you are looking for (even when the fact of your connection to ... is hard to find). So, there has to be a grand unified darknet with everything, period. And to the voting thing: There is a big amount of christian people in the US. What would be their vote about a freesite which promotes abortion and bashes on "christianity" in general? Shall this freesite be torn down for ANY reason? The only censor is the space on every node's harddisk, and this is a good thing. I remember some years ago, there was much more right-wing content available, where is it gone? Did no one click on the freesite link? How sad ;-) As Ian said, a terrible idea. I would compare the effects of any censorship inside of freenet to a neutron bomb - free speech dies, freenet survives. good byte _______________________________________________ chat mailing list [email protected] Archived: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.network.freenet.general Unsubscribe at http://dodo.freenetproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/chat Or mailto:[email protected]?subject=unsubscribe
