I was looking at the domain for the = mirror of your site on sourceforge and got confused. The first thing = that I would do to increase hits would be to put alot more information = on the index page. This seems to be the only page seen by google. Just = moving the info on "What is Freenet" to the index page would get you = alot more hits. Also rewriting that information so that it has more of = the keywords that you want to target in it would really help. Basically = decide on some phrases that you want to get high ranks on and then = modify the site as subtley as possible to get good positoning. As for my web development I am fluent in HTML and PHP. I also have perl = and javascript expierence. I havent used Wikis before but its all in = PHP so I can probably hack it. I dont know if I could completly = redesign the site using wiki but I could modify the code to alow some = other features. The first thing I would like to do is make the forum = better. If we modified the wiki code to include a PHPBB forum that = would look alot nicer. I have experience with PHPBB(check the forum on = www.islavistahome.com) If you want to see what it looks like. And the = template im using is one of many. Its almost infinitly customizable. = Does freenetproject's host support mysql? If it does I could set up a = forum really quickly.
