installing wuftp on fedora core 5

Hi everyone,

I am running fedora core 5 as a virtual machine on vmware.  The install f=
ile=20
says I need to edit 3 different files to build the program.  As I have ne=
ver=20
messed with configuration files such as these, I am quite lost.  If anyon=
e=20
could give me advice or point me in the right direction for how to go abo=
ut=20
editing these files to get this build to work, it would be most appreciat=
ed.=20
 Also, I am a "linux noob" so even the most basic things might be difficu=
lt=20
for me.
