Yes, we have dug deep into google and several FAQ's and have found several
people have similar problems but we never find an answer.  It worked fine
with ver 2.4.*, but not with 2.6.2.  It must be a conspiracy!  lol

The defumask is a work around but won't do totally what we want to do with
it.  Aaarrggghhh.
