Sample Code

Hey guys, this is my first post. I have been reading about the
Gnutella network architecture for the last two weeks or so, and I am
in need of a little guidance. Most of the open source projects I have
been looking through are a little too extensive for me to learn the
basics of using the network, so I was wondering if there is some
sample code somewhere out there, just describing basics connections
and what not.

Just to let you guys know, I am working on a little project of a
native p2p Gnutella system on the iPhone.
