That would be a very bad idea.  Think about the implications, the
bootstrapping problems, and the risk of creating a parallel network if
too successful. :-)

Features should be tested LOCALLY.  Use open-source servents to establish
a small local network and attempt to join it (as a leaf node).  Now creating
a test lab environment is in itself a lot of work and most people will not
bother, hence fail.
