Re: Status of web-interface projects

Hello,

AJAX doesn't actually require Java -- in fact, the point of AJAX-like
applications is to avoid the need for applets! It would be used for
things such as progress bars being updated without needing to be
refreshed, etc. It would require JavaScript, but a JS-less alternative
can always be developed alongside it.

An interesting, but somewhat unrelated thought: Should people be
allowed to download their Shared Files from the web-interface? I could
see that being quite handy!
