Creation of a new translation

Hello !
My name is Claude Barde, I'm a 22-years-old French man living in South France. I take part in a translation group for my language called "occitan". This the second minority language in France (with breton, basque, catalan for example), spoken by approximately 1 million of people and understood by 2 millions. This a roman language which was very used during the Middle Age. Now we are trying to promote our language so that the people want to learn it and speak it, and that's why we need to translate a lot of useful logicials to make the language more alive. I would like to translate Limewire (me or someone else from our group that you can find on http://www.totenoc.org/index.php), because a lot of people use this software, and using it in occitan would be better ! 
Tell me how can we make it ?
