gc 1.0.8 released

Hello,

I have uploaded version 1.0.8 of gc (command line Gopher+ client) to

This is mostly a quick bug fix release:

  - Trailing dots are now removed from text files and directories, if
    the protocol is Gopher0.

  - TCP errors from gawk are now handled properly (i.e. without
    terminating gc).

  - Autoload-files are only once automatically displayed but not when
    the directory is reloaded.

  - New option -0 turns off all Gopher+ support.  (Exception:
    file uploads.)

  - gc uses now PUT for uploads to HTTP servers.

  - gcs: USER variable is renamed to USER_ID.
