Verification that GD is Really Working

Is there a method -- short of asking someone to try to hack my machine -- of
verification that GD is working?

Also, is there a list of "preferred settings"?

MY FC3 machine is connected to a Lynksys router which is connected to a
Lynksys cable modem.

I converted to 100% Linux a few months ago and do not run Windows.

The FC3 box runs the following applications -- each opened in it's own window
(I have 12 windows set up)

Here are my windows:

1. KMail
2. KNode (for reading Usenet)
3. Pan (for posting binaries)
4. Perl development
5. Limewire Pro (music and p@rN)
6. Firefox opened to Google advanced search
7. Firefox opened to an on-line - remote http calendar system st up by a
client company I work with
8. Firefox opened to Rennlist.com (Porsche 928 group)
9. Firefox opened to a Vietnam Veteran's discussion web site
10. Music applications, xmms and RA connected to www.sky.fm
11. Spare
12. KOrganizer

I would appreciate your assistance. Since converting my home and business
100% to Linux a few months ago, I have mainly been occupied with fine-tuning
all of the various applications and setting up a systematic backup and
recovery system and so forth -- tweaking the system, so to speak.

Thanks!

Dave
