Port 0 & 1

I have just started to use GuardDog on a freshly installed Slackware 10.2
And I have found the following thru the brute force method
I.E. try everything 'till something works

After a reboot shieldsup would indicate ports 1 & 2 blocked all others
stealthed
Then when I would run GuardDog from the KDE menu ports 1 & 2 would be
stealthed
Could not figure out why this would happed, since /etc/firewall script was
used at boot and when run from KDE

It appears that my ADSL connection must be estlabished before GuardDog
My solution was to edit rc.local to start pppoe then run the firewall script

now after a reboot all my ports are stealthed

Maybe this will help someone else. It drove me nuts for several hours.
