Gd blocking all LAN traffic

Dear mates:
i would like to have your insights on this matter. I set up a
peer-to-peer connection between two computers running FC3. Both NIC's
are activated and functioning well (file and print share go smoothly as
long as GD is disabled); IP addresses are 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.2,
both running GD 2.4.0. I set up a 'lan' zone (addresses 192.168.0.0/24)
that connects just to 'local'; 'local' connects to 'Internet' and 'lan'
and finally 'Internet' connects just to 'local'. Zone properties are set
  NFS, NIS, PING, ICMP and DNS enabled just to 'lan', not to 'Internet';
so are same protocols enabled to 'lan'-'local'.
As I have said all network traffic is blocked; Internet traffic is
enabled and secure, according to GRC.com and PCFLANK sites.
Any hints???
TIA,
