Its a bit clunky to do this in Guarddog (although it can be done), I prefer to 
use TCP Wrappers.

- Using synaptic, make sure you have tcp wrappers installed
- Open up a text editor and open the file /etc/hosts.deny
- Put in the line SSHD: ALL EXCEPT 212.40.x.x
- Make sure /etc/hosts.allow is empty
