Hello All

Just installed Guarddog from source on my CentOS 4.2 machine at home.

Machine is configured as follows:
- IP address:192.168.1.2
- ADSL Router IP: 192.168.1.1
- Using ppoe to connect to the Internet & my provider issues a Dynamic IP
- Single Machine being used as a workstation & mail/web/ftp server
using Dynamic DNS provider no-ip.com's sub-domain.

Guarddog does not seem to like the IP address of the local zone or the
Internet Zone...error in the Zone Addresses text box...IP addresses
not maching any zone.

Please advise how to configure the GUI to accept new IP addresses for
both the zones, especially the Internet Zone to accept the Dynamic IP
provided by the ISP on ppp0.

Also, can I choose not to use the local zone & create a new zone for my machine?

However, except for this minor hiccup, I found the interface to be
very good, especially if the intention is to learn firewalling as
well. My compliments to the developers.

With best regards.
Sanjay.
