Hi,
I am unable to print to my LAN networked printer when Guarddog is
activated. Whereas, when Guarddog is disabled, I can print with no
problems. Essentially, I'm running Slackware 11.0 and using the CUPS
backend server.
In short, I created a zone called LAN that contains all the 192.168.1.x
IPs, and then allowed the IPP protocol between both the LAN and LOCAL
zones (none for the INTERNET zone).
BTW: I successfully configured Guarddog with other protocols, for
example, with MySQL, SMB, PING, and SSH.
What am I missing here? What would you like to know that would help you
help me solve this annoying problem? Let me know if you'd like to see
Guarddog's current configuration.
