Hamster and OS's

Just a couple of quick questions before I get too enthusiastic (<grin>)
about things:

Our beloved Hamster will run under Windows NT4, right?

If so, will I need to do anything "special" to get it to run, or will it be
just "plug and play/pray" like with Windows 9x?

And, just for fun, has anyone tried to get Hamster to run under Linux,
using Wine?

Addendum:

If someone would post this entire message to hamster.en.misc, to ensure
that the necessary people see what follows, I'd appreciate it...I tried
posting an article containing just the above questions, but discovered a
problem.

It would appear that 2.0.0.0 has a bug...Hamster is ignoring my chosen
"Preferred Post-Server", Easynews. I tried re-selecting the post server
(by selecting something else and then selecting Easynews again), but that
didn't make any difference. Worse yet, h.e.m is available on 4 of the
servers I have configured, including both Easynews *and* my ISP's server,
yet Hamster insists on using the *only* server (DFN-CIS) that wouldn't like
my 'From: address' and thus rejects my posts :-(

While I can read the hamster newsgroups and thus see any responses to my
above questions about Hamster and OS's, and discussion/responses/questions
about the problem I'm having, any input from me will obviously have to be
via the mail list...at least, until I find at least a temporary way to
force Hamster to post to a server of *my* choosing, rather than *its'*.
