It did fine.

It runs out of the box. You might want to run Hamster as a service,
it's possible but I don't recall the details.

Yes. I didn't succeed. And I've got used to INN (takes some time indeed)
and Postfix and I don't regret it.

Not the place nor the time for a discussion about munging, just my opinion
that I strongly dislike it - and you could use [email protected] as an address
that it accepted by 42 (aka news.cis.dfn.de).
