Mail filters and other questions

OK, I installed Hamster a few weeks ago, and I'm pretty happy with it.

I'm using it only for mail at this time, and my setup is quite simple. Here's the .hsc file I'm using, adapted from one of the samples (I suppose it could be #!hs2 just as well, right? <--- Question 1):

I'm pulling from two pop3 servers and sending everything to a single account, which I manage with Eudora 3.0.6 - the real reason I installed Hamster in the first place was that my hosting provider no longer supports older versions of Eudora!

A few days ago I set up the smtp function, and that has been working just fine.

Question 2: What happens when you set up more than one smtp host? Does Hamster use the first (or last) listed unless it times out, or does it alternate, or what?? Documentation doesn't seem to cover this (and I don't read German, sorry).


The main thing I want to ask about, however, is mail filtering.

For starters, I'd like to delete from server without downloading any messages using a Korean character set. This is because 95% of the spam I'm seeing lately is in one of these charsets (there seem to be a few ways to designate Korean). This information is generally located in some of the more obscure headers, like "Content-type:" (I think).

So, how do I get rid of this cruft? <-- Question 3.


Later, I'll want to add more spam filtering, but this will make me happy for now.
