I don't know of any pretty gui tools to admin it (suspect the webmin set might have one) but to be honest, you really only have to go edit a few lines in inn.conf and that is about it. however, if you are happy with hamster, it might be better to investigate why you can't seem to run it in its new home. try binding it to 0.0.0.0 for a while, check it works (start with a simpler client such as xnews, and then if that works and agent doesn't, it is probably agent that is at fault. at the lowest level, you can test with a terminal emulator but only sad people like me do that :)
