I'll look a that more, but thought inn required a real news feed rather 
than using NNTP to connect to a remote server. I have poked around a little 
more and run across two other programs, sn and leafnode, that sound more 
like hamster.

Hamster works and retrieves messages. However, when Agent (and Netscape, 
ugh) attempt to connect, they return a message saying that the server is 
refusing connections. User name, password, IP address, etc. are all correct.
