I've no time to work on ayttm these days... It would already be done if 
I was still single - blame my girlfriend ;-))

That's a bug. You can enable MSN debug in the prefs window, try to 
connect and send us the output.

GTK2, no problem, I'd like to see this happen too and would do it myself
if I had the time. C#/Mono, not until I'm dead and buried (or one forks).
C++ is ok, the gtk2 port that has started (but stopped too soon) uses more
of it.

Nope, the whole source tree is GPL. The only licences we "break" are the 
service providers' Terms Of Service which often say "no third party client
on our network". But that concerns the users, not us developers ;-)
