Okay, it seems I was missing PIL. I downloaded
the tar.gz package. However, during the
"python setup.py build" stage, I received the following:

................................

/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-slackware-linux/3.3.4/../../../../i486-slackware-linux/bin/ld:
cannot find -lImaging
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
error: command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1
................................

Any hints?

:o)
