newbie to ayttm w/ webcam troubles

Hello All I just installed Ayttm 0.4.6-26 on my Debian sarge system. Ayttm is a great program. thanks. I am not able to get webcam chat working with yahoo buddies. Invites work though unable to see my webcam.Both webcams work in xawtv & gnomemeeting. Ok I have checked out some Ayttm documentation and some archived posts from mailing list. I am still unable to find clear how-to ( step-by-step ) for getting webcam chat working with Ayttm. I need something like "Ayttm-webcam-chatting for Dummies" *grin* Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction or give me some pointers.
