Thanks George, this is great input :)

Do tell us if there is anything you think we ought to have as a
standard IRC client. Ones I could pinpoint are DCC file transfer and a
few more /commands like /mode, /action (it'll be the same as /me),
etc. Also, we need to capture and show all server issued warnings and
errors.
