Yes we need to update our linking requirements because of "geobalancing" (we should also think of a good name for this feature of ours). That's because now, all users from a given region will end up only on the servers for that region. So, during busy times, all US users (around 1000 to 1500 these days) are on the few US servers. If one of those servers has a problem, the users will spill onto the others, and the client load can go way over 500. So while our normal client load during peak times for each server is something like 300, over 500 clients for short periods of time is not unusual. 1000 would be a more realistic minimum but I would actually encourage you to set a higher compiled maximum like 2048 and set the soft limit lower. lik-m-aid had this problem just 2 days ago and is going to have to be recompiled/restarted. By the way, I think your linkapp said you were part of a channel on Blitzed, yet I can't see you having any channel access. Is it an unregistered channel? Or did you mean you were moving a channel here? -- http://freebsdwiki.org/ - Encrypted mail welcome - keyid 0xBF15490B "When I was a little kid we had a sand box. It was a quicksand box.
