This is the exact error I get on the shell side: [Mar 18 02:43:58 2004] IRC READ -> :california.peacefulhaven.net 491 PeaceBopm :No O-lines for your host -----Original Message----- From: Leesa [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, March 17, 2004 8:39 PM To: bopm mailing list Subject: RE: [bopm] bopm refusing to start Here are the two forms I had for the o:line: O:*@*:xxxxxxx:defiant:FNOARDZWHTsfkceazvHq:1 O:[email protected]:xxxxxxx:defiant:FNOARDZWHTsfkceazvHq:1 I have the latter o:line duplicated across all my servers, and it is showing in a /stats o. So, any suggestions as to why the oper command fails and tells me there are no o:lines for my host? -----Original Message----- From: Sys Admin [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, March 17, 2004 8:22 PM To: Leesa Subject: Re: [bopm] bopm refusing to start Hmm I have never used Unreal before but I would try the debug mode and watch carefully for errors when it trys for the ops. It will list alot of stuff so you will have to sort through it but you should be able to get a idea of what is going on. Is the nick you are using registered with the services ? >From what you have said it sounds like it. Can you paste the O line here and **** out the password ? Also pasting the full error would also be helpful. If you wish some real time Asst you can log onto my server and enter the room #Land-of-Ahz you will need to you my IP address as my fine Host can't get a A record right on there DNS server right now So that would be : 24.19.203.69 Let me know if you have any problems. I am here to serve. Now, I have another problem. We are running hybrids of both Unreal3.1.5.1 and Epona services. I can get the bot to ID to nickserv properly, but it is not executing a successful oper command. It is claiming no o-lines for the host. I had the o:line coded with *@* to begin with, then I coded it with the bot's specific mask, and I keep getting the same message. Suggestions? -----Original Message----- From: Sys Admin [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, March 17, 2004 7:30 PM To: Leesa Subject: Re: [bopm] bopm refusing to start I would try running Bopm in debug mode like this --> ./bopm -ddd and see if you get any errors. The debug mode is not much use but can help with problems like these. What Distro did you install it on ? What version of IRC are you running ? I followed every direction available in setting up bopm. I go into the /bin subdirectory of bopm and type ./bopm Nothing happens. Anyone have a clue? Thanks.
