Hey, thanks for the reply Wouter!

I guess Irssi is kind of like a fully developed nation now - ain't much
left to do :-)

But yeah, there is the chance that a move to GitHub will appeal to the
younger generation as well as people who never thought of contributing
before, but that find IRC an increasingly important medium for working on
million-dollar-projects or gathering business intelligence.
