Extending Jabberd2 to publish presence of nodes in P2P network

Hi All,
I need to extend jabberd2 server in a way that to list all the users who are
connected to the server regardless of adding and accepting each user.
This is there scenario. I have P2P overlay network in a LAN which is
basically doing IP multicasting. Any computer in a LAN can join or leave
this P2P network at anytime. Each of them has a uniqe host name. Then I want
to publish the presence of these nodes joining to P2P in jabberd2 so
everybody in peer group can then see who are connected to the group using
any XMPP client. Its to implemented as when a node is connected to the
server it automatically register with the jabberd2 runing locally.
I thought this way as each node has a jabber2 server runing in it.

If anyone has done similier thing with jabber2 or know thow to achieve this
please share ur knowledge.
