Hmm.. This may be a problem with the way the core client gets messages.. Let me
think about this for a bit, and try some things out. I definitely want to allow
plugins to capture messages which match a specific xpath, but I need to fiddle
with how the packets get dispatched first.

(short answer: stay tuned, lemme try some stuff to fix this).
