auto away settings

Hi,

I have a user whose Exodus status of 'away' doesn't automatically change
back to 'available' when he comes back to his machine. So even though he's
active at his machine, unless he manually changes it to 'available' it shows
him as 'away'. Does anyone know how to fix this? Is it a setting I'm
missing?  He is using version 0.9.0.32.
