-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Folks, the jabber.org admin team is working to improve the security of our service. As part of that effort, we plan to require encryption of client connections to the server (currently, encryption is optional). On Friday, December 20 and Saturday, December 21, we will test this configuration. The last time we did this (several years ago), some older software was not able to connect. Given that most client connections are already encrypted, we do not expect major problems this time around. However, if you are not able to connect on those days, we would appreciate it if you post to this list with information about the software you are using to connect, so that we can either help you with the proper client configuration or provide bug reports to the developers of your software. Thanks.
