Re: lftp hangs on certain sites...

I'm on FreeBSD, and have hence used ktrace.

The processes get into a tight loop consisting of this:

 49623 lftp     CALL  gettimeofday(0xbfbfed58,0)
 49623 lftp     RET   gettimeofday 0
 49623 lftp     CALL  gettimeofday(0xbfbfed58,0)
 49623 lftp     RET   gettimeofday 0
 49623 lftp     CALL  gettimeofday(0xbfbfed58,0)
 49623 lftp     RET   gettimeofday 0
 49623 lftp     CALL  gettimeofday(0xbfbfed58,0)
