I am going to trust it for a quick do-differ between my client and server, and won't be doing it so often as to necessitate a speed optimal solution anyhow. > As this is a fairly useful bit of functionality, it might make sense to > add this to the rs_job object so you get an overall md4sum as well as > the signature. I had the feeling that perhaps it would be possible to do it in one pass though, thus save processing the data twice. But I don't really know the definitions of these sums (looking at the code only helps me a little here). But doing it in pseudo-parallel is certainly Good Enough for my. >> [standard, but sincere open-source flattery ahead:] I think it's very >> exciting to have library access to the very elegant rsync algorithm. >> Beautiful work. The cvs seems to be changed very little. Are there btw any bugs in librsync that I should be aware of?
