To see what plugins you have try this:

$ L=`which licq`
$ ls  `echo $L | sed -e "s/bin\/licq//"`lib/licq/*.so
/usr/local/lib/licq/licq_console.so  ...

Then licq -p console to load the console plugin or whatever you want...
