New install, new to Licq & Linux. I get 00:47:47: [ERR] Unknown sign on error: 0x1C

I think I have it correctly installed, but I'm still learning my way around.Licq initializes, but doesn't display my registered old ICQ number, which I added. When I try to change status, I get 00:47:47: [ERR] Unknown sign on error: 0x1C. What is it, and how can I fix it? Thanks, Al
