Thanks Anders,
I'm running an Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy, which was upgraded from an original
install 7.10 from disk. It has a couple of problems that appear to have
originated with the upgrade. Kernal is 2.6.24.25, Gnome 2.22.3, on an
AMD Sempron 2600+ which I built myself. 503.5 MiB Ram, and 121.6 GiB
hard drive space unused.
I'm good w/ the hardware, but an infant when it comes to Linux, being a
new convert from Windows.
Al
