Great! That's good news. For the sake of it, which incarnation of Linux do you use? I am, when push comes to shove, a teacher, and all I had read and heard suggested Ubuntu was the best system for educators, but I'm always willing to learn. O.K., If we do not compile, how do I proceed? I got home from the hospital just a bit before midnight, so you will probably see this on Saturday. I'll be teaching until evening in case you wish to leave a message for me. When I get back I'll see if you are online. Thanks Again, Al Rowe P.S., I downloaded the 1.3.7.tar.Bz2, but don't know what to do with it. Also, do I need Boost libraries?
