I'm not very familiar with the release cycles, should I be concerned about
using a "pre" version on production machines?  For now, I've decided not to
install 1.5pre4 which may or may not solve the problem.  Any word on when 1.5
will be fully released?

That code section isn't changed in 1.5pre4, perhaps some change elsewhere fixes
the problem; but I don't see it.  CHANGES lists "13) Fixed a bug when multiple
alarms expire simultaneously." for 1.4.1, does this sound like it could be my
problem?
