[Myrinet] need your help

Hello. I'm using M3F-PCI64C and the associated switch. And I think there is a problem in the cable(fiber as you know). A few days ago I succeeded to communicate between two nodes, but I can't today. I found that no green light(alive LED on the switch) is seen when I use 'a suspected cable'. If I substitute the cable with another one, everything seems to be ok. So, I just wonder how the cable is out of order. Is the cable out of order with a little distortion? And is there any simple way to fix it up with myself?
